A CEASE-FIRE AGREEMENT ON CONFRONTATION LINE FROM JASENOVAC TO CHA

CHA $ NNEL OF KUPA-KUPA ZAGREB, Nov 20 (Hina) - The local Zagreb command of the Croatian Army states that representatives of the Croatian authorities and the Serb side held a meeting at the current base of UNPROFOR unit "Danbat", the former halls of the "Finel" factory near the crossing between Moscanica and Cesko Selo at 10:00 hrs Thursday, 18 November 1993. The following conclusions were made at that meeting: 1. Cessation of all combat activities of the both sides along the confrontation line from Jasenovac to "Kupa-Kupa" Channel should come into effect at 12:00 hrs Friday, 19 November 1993. 2. The so-called "Hot Line", i.e. telephone line, should be established between the headquarters in Sisak and in Petrinja at 10:00 hrs Friday, 19 November 1993. 3. A new meeting of both the sides should be held on the 25th of November 1993, in order to discuss all confrontational issues in this crisis area." According to the statement issued by the local Zagreb command of the Croatian Army, last Thursday's meeting between the representatives of the Croatian authorities and the local Serb authorities of the areas of Sisak and Petrinja was held under sponsorship of UNPROFOR. 201154 MET nov 93
