SPLIT, Nov 11 (Hina) - The spokesman for the UNPROFOR British Battalion in
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Henry Boidy, told HINA in Split on Thursday that about
65,000 Croats were surrounded by Moslem forces in the Vitez area. UNHCR,
backed by the British Battalion, had delivered 120 tons of food and relief
aid to the Croats in the past two months, he said.
The spokesman went on to say that the Nova Bila hospital had been supplied
with sufficient amount of medicines and fuel for the power generating
units.
As far as we know, the lives of the wounded in the hospital were not in
danger because of war operations in the area, said Boidy.
