MOSTAR, Nov 1 (HABENA/Hina) - Twenty-two Croats escaped from the
prison in Jablanica, some of whom have been detained since April,
according to HANENA carrying the information of the Jablanica HVO
Office for Welfare in Jablanica.
According to that information the Museum of the Revolution,
which had been turned into a prison, 236 more Croats have remained
there, 55 of whom are children. One baby was born in the prison,
where it is kept with his mother and three children in the cellar.
The majority of the imprisoned Croats are the residents of the
village of Doljani (167) and Grabovica (37) and Jablanica (13);
then form the villages of Mrakovo, Zuglic, Donja Jablanica,
Capljina and Ustirama. The list of the prisoners is not final,
since new detainees arrive daily.
The Office also stated that the residents of the village of
Glogosnica in the Jablanica municipality have not slept in their
homes since long ago because they fear the slaughter that had
happened in Grabovica (north of Jablanica), when the members of
the Muslim forces killed 30 persons.
