ZAGREB, Jan 12
(Hina) - Women from the Independent Trade Union of
the Brodosplit shipyard and members of the "Women in the Homeland War"
association on Thursday presented the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office
(DORH) with letters demanding that women who had been raped by Serb
soldiers during the 1991-1995 war be awarded the status of war crimes
victim and that efforts be stepped up to bring the perpetrators to
justice.
