BELGRADE, Dec 13
(Hina) - Following the European Council's decision
to postpone until March 2012 the decision on whether Serbia will be
given the status of an EU candidate, making the decision conditional
on better progress in Serbia's dialogue with Kosovo, Serbian Deputy
Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic said on
Tuesday Serbia would not be given candidate status in March either
because the condition for it was the recognition of Kosovo's
independence.
