BELGRADE, Dec 5
(Hina) - A member of the European Parliament and its
rapporteur on Serbia, Jelko Kacin, said in Belgrade on Monday that an
agreement between Serbia and Kosovo on border crossings and the
removal of roadblocks set up in northern Kosovo by local Serbs would
make it possible for Serbia to obtain the status of a candidate for
membership in the European Union.
