SPLIT, Dec 16 (Hina) - Rebel Croatian Serb forces in UNPA South
have been seriously violating the March 29 ceasefire agreement.
Serb paramilitary formations in the separation zone every day
open artillery fire on neighbouring Bosnia, Croatian army Col.
Mijic today said at a meeting in Miljkovac near Sinj with the
commander of the Kenyan UN Battalion, Col. Githiri.
The Croatian army representative said that Serb forces had
inserted an infantry battalion into Bosnia near the village of
Bracev Dolac.
Serb forces still have not withdrawn from Obodin, Opsjenak,
Mala Vranovaca. What's more, they have returned to their positions
at Tavnica and Sinjal, Mijic said.
Mijic strongly protested over flagrant violation of the
ceasefire agreement by rebel Serbs.
Githiri said UNPROFOR would try and re-establish supervision
in the separation zone.
Serb authorities from UNPA South were also invited to attend
today's meeting but did not appear.
