MOSTAR, Dec 16 (Hina) - European Union (EU) Administration of
Mostar experts had drawn up a document on the joint police forces
in this southern Bosnian city, as a press conference in the EU
Administration Headquarters in Mostar was told today.
The document has been submitted to the Croatian Police in
western Mostar, the Bosniac Police in eastern Mostar, as well as to
the EU Police Headquarters of Mostar.
It is expected to be adopted by the end of this year.
Calling on the sides to establish the joint police forces as
son as possible, EU Ambassador Klaus Metscher, an aide to EU
Administrator of Mostar, said to journalists that at the beginning
the joint police headquarters of the three police forces should be
establishes. Afterwards the EU Administration police would
withdraw, while the joint Croatian and Bosniac police forces would
be incorporated into the Bosnian Federation Police.
