ZAGREB, Dec 15 (Hina) - Trilateral talks between the government
delegations of Croatia, Malaysia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, led by
prime ministers Nikica Valentic, Mahathir Mohamad and Haris
Silajdzic, ended in Zagreb this afternoon.
Valentic said the talks concentrated on establishing links
between certain industrial branches as well as on investment in
construction works and electric power transmission.
Mahathir said there was the possibility of building companies
from Croatia and Bosnia competing in Malaysia. He suggested that
the three countries should start economic cooperation where
possible and not wait for the situation in the region to normalize.
Silajdzic agreed that foundations for bilateral and trilateral
cooperation should be established despite the ongoing Serbian
aggression against Bosnia.
Valentic thanked Malaysia for its support to Croatia and
Bosnia at the international level.
On Friday, the Malaysian delegation is scheduled to meet
separately with Croatian and Bosnian officials.
The Malaysian and Bosnian delegations are also expected to be
received by Croatian President Franjo Tudjman.
