ZAGREB, Dec 15 (Hina) - The Croatian Federation of Trade Unions,
one of four major labour organisations in Croatia, announced that
their members will stop work for two hours tomorrow.
The Federation demands the payment of a Christmas bonus to all
employees and retirees and the signing of a general binding
collective agreement, labour leader Niko Gunjina told reporters.
The stoppage is also aimed at preventing the passage of labour
legislation in Parliament without consulting labour
representatives.
Another goal is to draw attention to irregularities in the
privatisation process.
