ZAGREB, Dec 3 (Hina) - "The visit to Chile and Argentina has proved
very successful and fruitful," Croatian President Franjo Tudjman
today told reporters at Zagreb airport, upon return from a seven-
day South-American tour.
"In Chile and Argentina, Croatia has found friends willing to
engage in economic, political, cultural and sports cooperation,"
President Tudjman said.
"Meeting numerous Croatian emigrants, who have become
prominent public figures in Chile and Argentina, has been a very
important experience," he said.
Asked what steps Croatia intended to take if Bihac fell into
Serb hands, President Tudjman said the Bihac problem did not belong
to Croatia and Bosnia alone, but should be addressed by the entire
international community - which had reached agreement on the issue
and drawn up a peace plan.
"Croatia will do everything to help realise this plan, without
making any rash moves," President Tudjman concluded.
