SARAJEVO, Dec 1 (Hina) - U.N. Sarajevo officials this evening
confirmed that all day fighting was recorded in the Bihac area, as
well as the exchange of artillery fire.
U.N. military observers said a 82mm mortar shell hit a house
in the center of Bihac at about 8.00hrs this morning. Extensive
damage was inflicted on the building, but no casualties were
reported.
The situation in the Bihac pocket was described as very
serious.
U.N. Chief Commander in Bosnia-Herzegovina, General Michael
Rose today met with Serb military representatives at Pale. They
discussed the current situation in Bosnia.
U.N. officials said today's talks were preparations for the
arrival of U.N. special envoy Yasushi Akashi in Sarajevo tomorrow.
