SISAK, Nov 5 (Hina) - A Japanese delegation today met officials
from the Sisak regional office for refugees to discuss details of
the construction of a refugee centre.
The centre will be located in Mala Gorica, an unoccupied
village in the Serb rebel-held municipality of Petrinja.
About 1,000 refugees will be accommodated in 80 houses. The
complex also includes shops, a kindergarten, a medical centre and
other facilities.
The construction is to begin next spring under a Memorandum
signed Wednesday between Japanese Government International
Cooperation Centre, UNHCR and Croatian Office for Refugees
representatives.
