BELGRADE, Nov 2 (Hina) - Yugoslavia is offering Croatia cooperation
in the fields of culture, sport, education, transport, the
reopening of air traffic between Zagreb and Belgrade and the
resumption of telecommunications, Yugoslav Foreign Minister,
Vladislav Jovanovic, said yesterday on Belgrade Independent TV.
He was discussing a meeting with Croatian Foreign Minister,
Mate Granic, to take place in Zagreb next Friday.
"We believe the meeting will help both sides resolve such
issues as will not preempt a political settlement," Jovanovic said.
Jovanovic said the success of the talks depended on the
progress achieved in talks between the Croatian Government and the
Knin Serbs.
