ZAGREB, Sept 14 (Hina) - The newly-appointed Argentinian ambassador
to Croatia, Pesci Burel, today presented his credentials to
President Franjo Tudjman.
The ambassador conveyed Argentinian President Menem's pleasure
that President Tudjman had accepted his invitation to visit the
Argentine in the near future.
President Tudjman said Croatia paid great attention to the
development of relations with the Argentine.
Voicing his satisfaction with President Menem's recent visit
to Croatia, President Tudjman said he and the Croatian delegation
looked forward to visiting the Argentine.
President Tudjman recalled that a great number of Croatian
emigrants considered Argentine as their new homeland, which
constituted yet another tie between the two countries.
