SARAJEVO, Sep 2 (Hina) - The Foreign Ministry of the Bosnian
Republic and the Croat-Bosniac Federation issued a statement on
Friday in connection with a visit of Holy Father to Sarajevo,
saying that 8 September will be of great importance for Bosnia-
Herzegovina and its nations.
The statement stresses that "Holy Father is visiting Bosnia-
Herzegovina, its authorities and all nations as the head of the
Vatican, the country which contributed to the international
recognition of Bosnia-Herzegovina."
Pope John Paul II brings compassion and love to people who
suffers. Croat Catholics invite their neighbours to jointly welcome
Holy Father, says the statement.
