ZAGREB, Sept 2 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman today
received the President of the new Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina,
Kresimir Zubak, and Bosnian Croat representatives, the presidential
office said in a statement.
The delegation informed President Tudjman on the progress of
the implementation of the Washington Agreements, confirming the
determination of the Bosnian Croats and their leaders to inject
life into the Bosnian Federation and its confederation with
Croatia, as soon as possible.
Supporting the Bosnian Croat stance, President Tudjman
stressed the need for strenthening the unity of the Croatian people
in Bosnia-Herzegovina in order to achieve strategic national goals.
The talks were attended by Foreign Minister Mate Granic,
Defence Minister Gojko Susak and the President's advisor on home
policy Ivic Pasalic.
