HERZEGOVINA
WASHINGTON, July 15 (Hina) - The U.S. Secretary of Defence, William
Perry, will start on 16 July his trip to European countries,
Rumania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Greece, Albania, Turkey, Croatia,
Bosnia-Herzegovina and Italy, stated the U.S. Embassy in Zagreb on
Friday.
"Defence Secretary Perry will visit Split, and he is
scheduled to meet the U.S. Ambassador to Croatia, Peter W.
Galbraith and Croatian high officials before leaving for Sarajevo,"
reads today's statement issued by the American Embassy in Zagreb
adding that the visit of Perry to Bosnia-Herzegovina is due to be
on 22 July.
"During his stay in Sarajevo Perry is scheduled to meet
several state officials of the Bosnian government and the army's
officers, and he will also meet the U.N. Protection Force
(UNPROFOR) commander for B-H, General Michael Rose," says the same
statement.
