TURKISH AND CROATIAN FOREIGN MINISTERS SIGN BILATERAL AGREEMENTS

ANKARA, July 2 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic and his Turkish counterpart Hikmet Cetin signed bilateral agreements on maritime transport and international road transport which would facilitate and improve traffic links between the two countries. The two ministers agreed it was necessary to work out agreements on trade and economic cooperation, and on mutual stimulation and investment protection. They confirmed readiness of both countries to sign an agreement on friendship and cooperation during Turkish President Demirel's visit to Croatia, which is expected in mid-July. 021920 MET jul 94
