ZAGREB, June 8 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman received
this morning in his residence Rumanian Prime Minister Nicolae
Vacaroiu who is in an official visit to Croatia, said the
President's office.
The talks focused on political relations between the two
countries, the situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina and UNPAs. They also
talked about efforts made by the two countries and international
community towards resolving of the conflict by peaceful means as
soon as possible and reintegrating of the occupied Croatian areas
(UNPAs) into Croatia's legal system.
The Prime Minister informed President Tudjman about talks he
held with Croatian Prime Minister Nikica Valentic, Parliament's
Speaker Nedjeljko Mihanovic and other Croatian officials.
Prime Minister Vacaroiu also informed the Croatian President
about the course of talks between a Rumanian delegation and
Croatian businessmen. He said that the Croatian and Rumanian Prime
Ministers would sign today contracts on maritime transport and on
protection of investments.
