TENSE SITUATION IN BRCKO AREA, NORTHERN BOSNIA

SARAJEVO, May 8 (Hina) - The situation is growing tense in the area of Brcko (northern Bosnia-Herzegovina, on the right bank of the Sava river), broadcast Sarajevo radio on Sunday afternoon. The Serb aggressors' forces are opening more and more frequently artillery and small arms fire at the positions of the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) and the Army of Bosnia-Herzegovina in the Brcko free zone, reported Sarajevo-radio's correspondent from the battlefield.
