SERB ATTACKS ON USORA, NORTHERN BOSNIA

USORA, Apr 16 (Hina/HABENA) - Serb aggressors' troops, supported by artillery, continued intensive attacks on the Usora area (northern Bosnia-Herzegovina) in the last 24 hours, reported the local command of the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) on Saturday afternoon. The Serb forces, stationed in their strongholds of Putnikovo Brdo and Stanovi, fired 40 howitzer shells at locations of Omanjska, Sivsa, Alibegovci and Jelah in this crisis area. Serb attacks wounded one child and inflicted considerable material damage on residential buildings. The northern defence lines of Usora from Besici to Razdjenjak and the western defence line from Razdjenjak to Makljenovac were exposed to severe artillery-supported infantry assaults of the Serb forces, according to the same report.
