STATEMENT BY BOSNIAN ASSEMBLY AFTER YESTERDAY'S MEETING

SARAJEVO, May 5 (Hina) - Representatives of all parties in the Constitutional Assembly of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina requested at yesterday's meeting that talks on candidacies for top positions in the Federation should be accelerated, Sarajevo radio said last night quoting a statement by the Bosnian Assembly. The statement added that this would create conditions for calling of the Constitutional Assembly, appointment of the president and vice-president, the prime minister and members of the Government, and enactment of laws on cantonal delimitation and other regulations for enforcement of the Constitution of the Federation. 051106 MET may 94
