ZADAR, April 14 (Hina) - Croatian Army spokesman Major Ivan Zelic
reiterated in an interview with Hina on Thursday that the Croatian
army had met all commitments relative to the implementation of the
second stage of the cease-fire agreement and that it had withdrawn
its troops to the line of disengagement in UN Sector South. He
emphasized that allegations made by UNPROFOR officials at a Zadar
press conference yesterday, that the second stage had not yet been
implemented in full, could not apply to the Croatian army.
"I categorically assert that Croatian army troops have
withdrawn," Zelic said.
Zelic stressed Croatian forces did not open fire around Kasic,
a village in the Zadar hinterland, two days ago as they had pulled
out of the area in keeping with the March 29 cease-fire agreement.
