ZADAR, Apr 8 (Hina) - Despite of the recently signed ceasefire
agreement, there will be no mass return in villages of the Zadar
hinterland until all important conditions are fulfilled, said
Prefect of the County of Zadar and Knin Sime Prtenjaca at today's
meeting with representatives of the county police, army, and other
services. The ground should be cleared of mines, war damage
assessed, and water and electric supplies repaired, said Prtenjaca.
Inhabitants of free villages in the Zadar-Biograd hinterland will
be the first to return home, while the return of refugees to
villages in exclusion zones will be possible only when the sides
involved in conflict are disengaged in conformity with the Zagreb
agreement. The return of refugees to deep inside the occupied
territory is impossible, said Prtenjaca. +
