NOVIGRAD, March 15 (Hina) - Representatives of Istria's regional
office for refugees informed today the refugees, accommodated in
the Novigrad resort centre of Pineta that the office has not yet
received official reports that may confirm the consent of the owner
of the resort centre to extension of refugees' residence permit.
The resort centre of Pineta is in the Slovene ownership,
whereas the refugees should leave the facilities by March 31,
according to an agreement signed by the Croatian and Slovene
government.
About one thousand and four hundred expelled Croats from
Central Bosnia. Five hundred of them with children who attend
secondary schools should move to the camp of Porozija in Savudrija
(in Istria as well), while the rest of them should move to the
restored barracks of Samogor on the Dalmatian island of Vis.
