CALM SUNDAY MORNING ON ORASJE-SAMAC BATTLEFIELD

ORASJE, Apr 3 (Hina/HABENA) - The Orasje-Samac crisis area (the Bosnian Posavina, on the right bank of the Sava River) saw calm Sunday morning, reported the local command of the Croatian Defence Council (HVO). The Serb aggressors' forces from the village of Jenjici fired a score of mortar rounds at the HVO defence lines at about 19:00 hrs Saturday, while the enemy forces, stationed in Lepenice, fired several shells at the defence lines on this battlefield at about 21:00 hrs last night, said the same source. The last armed provocations of the Serb forces on the Orasje-Samac battlefield were registered at about midnight when the enemy troops from Lepenice impacted another two mortar shells at the HVO positions.
