REPORT FROM VITEZ CRISIS AREA

VITEZ, March 6 (Hina) - Calm Sunday morning was reported from the Vitez crisis area, said a Hina correspondent from this Central Bosnian town. The local command of the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) reported that the Moslem-led Bosnian forces were sighted digging ditches in the areas of Kosice and Budisici on the Novi Travnik battlefield. The Moslem-predominantly Bosnian formations continued reinforce their strongholds in the crisis areas of Kiseljak and Vares (Central Bosnia), according to the same report. The HVO command of Vitez decided to surrender heavy weapons to UNPROFOR control, since it would be impossible to move heavy weaponry far from the frontlines on the small space of the Lasva valley.
