ANKARA, Mar 3 (Hina) - Turkish President Suleiman Demirel received
today Croatian Ambassador in Ankara Hidajet Biscevic. Biscevic
informed the President about the course and results of the recent
Croatian-Moslem talks held in Washington and about the preliminary
accord on the arrangement of Bosnia-Herzegovina and establishment
of confederal relations with Croatia.
President Demirel expressed satisfaction with the agreement.
He said that it paved the way for an overall solution to the crisis
and for greater stability in this part of Europe. Demirel added
that Turkey would continue extending impartial assistance to both
sides, particularly during the resumption of the talks on certain
constitutional and political points of the accord.
