BEKIC INFORMS CSCE ON WASHINGTON ACCORD

PRAGUE, March 3 (Hina) - Permanent Croatian Representative to CSCE, Darko Bekic, informed the Committee of CSCE High Officials, meeting in Prague, on the signing of a framework agreement for creating a federation in B-H and an outline of the preliminary agreement for a confederation between Croatia and the B-H federation. "What was accomplished by the two governments is also an accomplishment by the international community as a whole regarding the finding of a comprehensive solution for the cessation of war in the former Yugoslavia", Bekic said. Speaking on behalf of the Croatian government, Bekic invited the CSCE members to continue giving political support in order to implement the above stated agreements and find an overall solution to the crisis on the territory of the former Yugoslavia. 031217 MET mar 94
