SINJ, Feb 4 (Hina) - After having visited Zadar and Sibenik, Head
of Mission of European Observers on the territory of former
Yugoslavia Greek Ambassador Konstantin Jerokostopolus with
associates journeyed Friday afternoon in Sinj crisis area.
Military and civil representatives informed the guests about
the situation on the occupied territory (UNPA South with the pink
zone) along the conflict line.
Jerokostopulos visited the Peruca dam which was badly damaged
a year ago by Serb mining, and the restoration of which is to start
soon.
Jerokostopulos stated that the situation was complicated and
bad, but that there were signs of optimism.
