BONN, Feb 2 (Hina) - Croatian Ambassador to Germany, Ivan Ilic and
Head of Croatian Office for refugees and displaced persons,
Adalbert Rebic, on Wednesday held talks in German Foreign Ministry
on problems linked with permits of stay for Croatian refugees in
Germany.
Croatian side presented documents on situation with refugees
and presented its proposals and demands for postponing of return of
Croatian refugees from Germany. Croatian side pledged for gradual,
differentiated and well organized return of all refugees to safe
areas of Croatia that could be realized in next 12 to 18 months.
German side expressed its understanding and Croatian
delegation expects reaching of acceptable solutions.
