SPLIT, Feb 2 (Hina) - Four hundreds of trucks will deliver 3,600
tons of food to Bosnia-Herzegovina during February. That is to be
done within the frame of the action "Humanitarian Roads of Peace
and Love", which is organized by the Croatian and Moslem religious
and charity associations, said the first joint meeting of the
Croatian and Moslem humanitarian organizations' representatives
held in Split today.
The action will start on 5 February when a hundred trucks
carrying 900 tons of food will leave Split for Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The humanitarian relief is to be delivered to Gornji Vakuf,
Bugojno, Zenica, Travnik, Nova Bila, Vitez and Busovaca (the towns
in Central Bosnia). It is agreed that Croatian participants of the
convoy will distribute humanitarian aid to Caritas in the areas
controlled by the Moslem-led Bosnian Army, while Moslem
participants will distribute relief to Merhamet in the areas under
the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) control.
