ZAGREB, Jan 5 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman received
on Wednesday the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy and
UNPROFOR's Chief Coordinator, Yakushi Akashi, said the Presidential
Office in a statement.
The Croatian President said he was pleased the UN Secretary-
General had appointed Mr Akashi for this mission. He expressed hope
temporary cease-fire agreements in the UN Protected Areas in
Croatia would become permanent, and stressed the Croatian policy
was directed at seeking a solution to the UNPAs in keeping with
relevant UN resolutions. President Tudjman said that Moslem
aggression on Croat enclaves in central Bosnia must immediately be
brought to a stop.
Mr Akashi pointed out that he would do his best during his
