MOSLEM $ S ZAGREB, Jan 3 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman received today a group of Moslems, the Croatian intellectuals, at their own request, said the Presidential office. The delegation delivered a letter to President Tudjman in which they support ceasing of hostilities and reestablishing of confidence between Croats and Moslems. They will deliver such a letter to President of the Bosnian Presidency Alija Izetbegovic also. The delegation gave President Tudjman credit for efforts which have been made towards halting the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina by the Republic of Croatia and President Tudjman personally. President Tudjman reiterated all Croatia's efforts made in order to preserve Bosnia-Herzegovina as an integral country. "I recommended the Croat people in Bosnia-Herzegovina to respond to referendum on independent Bosnia-Herzegovina and they did it. Croats accepted the European Community's proposal on the cantonal arrangement of the country, but Alija Izetbegovic refused the proposal. We also accepted the Vance-Owen Plan on partition of Bosnia into provinces, but Mr. Izetbegovic refused it too. We accepted the proposal of the European Community on the union of the three countries," said President Tudjman. "The newest statements by Ejup Ganic and Moslem offensive launched on the Lasva Valley, inspite of the signed Christmas ceasefire, say that, unfortunately, the Moslem leadership chose the war option," said President Tudjman adding that therefore, it is a high time that all people who see danger in such a policy influence on Izetbegovic's policy, said the Presidential office. 031652 MET jan 94
