ZAGREB, May 26 (Hina) - A hundred civilians were killed and more
than 200 were wounded in yesterday's Serb attacks on UN safe areas
in Bosnia, Bosnian Prime Minister Haris Silajdzic told a press
conference in Zagreb today.
Following yesterday's NATO air strikes against Serb military
targets, Serb forces attacked Sarajevo, Tuzla, Gorazde, Konjic,
Pazaric, Kladanj, Zepa and Srebrenica, Silajdzic said.
He went on to say that Gorazde was pounded by multiple rocket
launcher fire and that nerve gas was used in an attack on the
village of Serici near Zenica.
Silajdzic stressed that Serbs attacked only civilian targets
and UN bases.
Tuzla again came under attack at 9.00 hours this morning.
Serbs fired seven shells on the northwestern town of Bihac,
wounding one person.
Serb forces resumed artillery attacks on Bosnian army
positions in the Bihac pocket early this morning, Silajdzic said.
