TUZLA, May 26 (Hina) - Last night's Serb attack on the northeastern
Bosnian town of Tuzla killed 66 civilians and wounded 195, local
hospital sources said this morning.
They said that among the killed was a two-year child and
that most of the casualties were teenagers; 41 persons were in
intensive care and doctors were struggling to save their lives; 123
persons sustained sersious injuries while 31 lightly wounded
persons were released.
Tuzla mayor Selim Beslagic sent a protest letter to the UN
Security Council demanding that force be applied to stop
"Karadzic's fascists."
Shortly before 9.00 hours this morning, the town centre was
hit by a large-caliber shell fired from Serb positions on Mount
Majevica.
