ZAGREB, May 10 (Hina) - Days of Jewish culture began today with a
concert performance of works of Jewish musicians in the Jewish
community in Zagreb.
The celebration was organized to mark the 50th anniversary of
the victory over fascism and nazism and in honour of the World War
II victims, a member of the Jewish community, Branko Polic, said.
Concerts, exhibitions, video-projections, symposiums, round
table discussions and promotions of books will be held during the
celebration which will last until October.
A symposium called "From anti-Semitism to Holocaust" will be
held on May 25 and 26. A round table discussion on controversies
about anti-fascism, origins, practice and prospects of anti-fascism
will take place on June 2.
