OFFICIAL SEALS MAY BEAR INSCRIPTIONS IN ETHNIC MINORITY LANGUAGES

ZAGREB, May 4 (Hina) - The House of Representatives today passed the Seals and Stamps Bill in the second reading. The House passed an ammendment proposed by the Legislation Committee that ethnic communities and minorities could add inscriptions in their own language to official seals and stamps bearing the arms of the Republic of Croatia. The use of the Croatian language in seals and stamps remained mandatory. The House yesterday appointed the former President of the Supreme Court, Milan Vukovic, as a judge of the Constitutional Court.
