PAKRAC, May 2 (Hina) - Croatian police forces have taken control of
Gavrinica, the Serb occupied part of Pakrac, Pakrac police chief
Nikola Ivkanec said today.
Ivkanec added that Croatian police also controlled the
villages of Donji Caglic, Bjelanovac, Kovacevac and Bijela Stijena,
south and southwest of Lipik, about 100 km east of Zagreb.
Ivkanec said that Croatian officials were negotiating with
rebel Serb authorities in an effort to find a peaceful solution.
