ZAGREB, Apr 14 (Hina) - Rebel Serbs in Croatia possess several
rocket systems similar to the one used for firing an SA-6 missile
at the free territory on Wednesday, UN spokesman Christopher Gunnes
told HINA today.
UN personnel observed the existence of four similar rocket
systems in former Sector North. According to the UN, the systems
were being moved around.
"There is no evidence that Krajina Serbs had had them hidden
before or that they had received them from Serbia," Gunnes deduced,
adding that the UN believed the Serbs had had the system in their
possession for some time.
The UN was investigating the Wednesday incident involving the
firing of a surface-to-air SA-6 missile. So far it has been
ascertained that the missile dug a crater seven yards wide and
three yards deep.
