MOSTAR, April 6 (Hina) - The head of the Croatian Bench in the
Bosnian Federation Constituent Parliament, Ivan Bender, today sent
a letter to the speaker of the Bosnian Federation Constitutional
Parliament, Mariofil Ljubic, suggesting that he convene the next
Parliament session in Novi Travnik, central Bosnia.
Vice president of the Moslem-led Democratic Action Party
(SDA), Edhem Bicakcic, said in a statement carried by the Sarajevo
daily 'Oslobodjenje', that his party still insisted that the
session be held in Sarajevo.
All previous sessions of the Bosnian Federation
Parliament were held in the Bosnian army-controlled cities of
Sarajevo and Zenica, while Novi Travnik is under control of the
Croatian Defence Council (HVO), Bender emphasized.
