CRO GOVT SETS DEADLINE FOR SERVICING FOREIGN DEBT

ZAGREB, Apr 6 (Hina) - The Croatian Government today set deadlines for the servicing of immediate liabilities to foreign creditors, in line with a recent rescheduling agreement with the Paris Club. "The regular servicing of foreign debt will pave the way for more important foreign investments," Prime Minister Nikica Valentic told a Government session. He announced the opening of two foreign banks in Croatia, one French and one German. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has granted Zagrebacka Banka a 56 million DM loan for promoting the development of small and medium-sized companies, Valentic said.
