PAKRAC, April 4 (Hina) - The UN Civil Sector coordinator in the
former UN Sector West, Hussein Al Alfi, today said at a meeting
with Croatian authorities in Pakrac that he expected the new UN
mandate for Croatia to be more concrete and effective after the UN
secretary general's report on April 21.
Al Alfi added that Boutros-Ghali's report would probably
define the technical details of the implementation of UN Security
Council resolution 981 on the new UN operation in Croatia.
He said that repair works on a stretch of the Zagreb-Tovarnik
railway line running through a Serb-held area were progressing well
and that he expected it to be opened by April 15.
