REPAIRS TO ZAGREB-TOVARNIK RAIL LINE START FROM NOVSKA

NOVSKA, March 23 (Hina) - Repairs to the Zagreb-Tovarnik railway line started today from the direction of Novska, on the railway line section (in the occupied area) between Novska and Nova Gradiska. UNPROFOR Sector West spokeswoman, Susan Manuel, said today that local Serbs would reconstruct the railway line section through UNPA Sector West. Some materials necessary for the reconstruction were transported today from Novska to occupied Okucani. Manuel said trains would not stop at Okucani immediately after the rail line was repaired. It was still uncertain if passenger trains, besides cargo trains, would use the railway line immediately after its restoration.
