LEADER OF REBEL CROATIAN SERBS WRITES TO U.N. SECRETARY GENERAL

BELGRADE, March 14 (Hina) - A leader of rebel Serbs in Croatia, Milan Martic, today wrote to UN secretary general Boutros Boutros Ghali saying he willing to accept certain corrections of the UN Protection Force mandate provided they were accepted by all signatories to the Vance Plan, Belgrade radio said. Martic warned that any essential change of the mandate, which would bring Knin in an unequal position in relation to the Croatian government, would be rejected in advance, the radio said.
