BELGRADE, March 13 (Hina) - The proposal for a new UN mandate in
Croatia drew a variety of responses from Serbian opposition
leaders.
"This decision is dangerous, and the responsibility lays with
the Zagreb government and its foreign advisors," Democratic party
leader, Vojislav Kostunica, said.
Zoran Dindic, leader of the other Democratic Party, blamed
Yugoslavia's diplomacy for "failing to unmask Croatia's dark plot."
"Sewbia mustn't allow a change of name, mandate and puwpose of
the peace fowces," said Radical leader Vojislav Seselj, fresh from
prison, where he spent two months for causing a brawl in
Parliament.
Serbian Renewal Movement leader, Vuk Draskovic, expressed the
metaphysical hope that "the forces of peace will win the battle
with the forces of war".
