TOKYO, March 10 (Hina) - A meeting with the Japanese business
community interested in boosting economic cooperation with Croatia
was today held at the Croatian embassy in Tokyo.
The meeting included about twenty presidents, executive
directors and managers of the leading Japanese companies which
already had business contacts or which wanted to establish economic
ties with Croatia.
Representatives of the Japanese Foreign Ministry and media
were also present.
Croatian charge d'affaires Andjelko Simic informed the meeting
of the current situation in Croatia and possibilities for economic
cooperation.
Japanese businessmen said their companies were interested in
concluding concrete business arrangements as soon as possible.
