A BRIEF LOOK AT CROATIAN PRESS ON WEDNESDAY

ZAGREB, Feb 15 (Hina) - VJESNIK carries on the front page a report covering yesterday's talks between Croatian President Franjo Tudjman and EU Mostar Administrator Hans Koschnik. "Which are conditions for a three-way summit" is the headline of an article from the paper's Paris corespondent. The article reports on preparations for the three-partite meeting of Tudjman, Izetbegovic and Milosevic. "UNPROFOR mandate could be changed - new offer to Croatia" is another front-page headline. Vjesnik includes a comment piece on international efforts to restore some kind of a new Yugoslavia to solve the crisis in southeastern Europe instead of preventing Serbian expansionism. Vjesnik also carries an interview with Croatian deputy Defence Minister Josip Juras who says that canceling the UNPROFOR mandate is not the declaration of war. VECERNJI LIST carries two articles on the Hague-based International Tribunal for War Crimes after it indicted 21 Serbs. "Six Croat villages liberated" is a front-page headline on military successes of the Croat Defence Council (HVO) and the Bosnian government army in northwestern Bosnia. Vecernji list includes a commentary on organizers of an international meeting in Zagreb on democracy. "Izetbegovic is untouchable" is the headline of an article on Croat-Moslem political confrontations. (hina) jn rv vm 151332 MET feb 95
