BJELOVAR, Feb 14 (Hina) - Pursuant to a Knin "parliament" decision
passed last week, Serb authorities in Sector West have frozen all
contacts with the Croatian side, the UN Sector West spokesperson,
Susan Manuel, told reporters today.
Amonth other things, they have broken off talks on providing
water to Pakrac and Lipik, she specified.
The Sector West section of the Zagreb-Tovarnik railway was
nearly cleared of mines, except around Nova Gradiska, Manuel said -
but she did not know when (and if) the repairs would start.
Croat and Serb negotiators were to meet on Thursday to arrange
for refugees to visit their homes.
Vladimir Delac from the Croatian Government office for
relations with UNPROFOR, warned that rebel Serbs were digging
trenches along the Pakrac-Pozega road.
Manuel said UNPROFOR would investigate these reports.
